WCMM Fusion 2025
Where Science Meets Art
We are excited to announce the first WCMM Fusion 2025: Where Science Meets Art! This is an event telling the story of ongoing medical research at the Wallenberg centers of Molecular Medicine in Sweden, from the perspective of medical imaging. Our hope is that scientific art will spark lively conversations about both science and art, inspiring people to delve deeper into exploration and discovery. Prepare for an unforgettable day of inspiration and innovation!
This event will be in the format of an art exhibition, including workshops. We encourage students and researchers from all WCMM centres to tell a story about their research through original artwork and photographs that highlight the artistic quality of scientific materials, processes, instruments, findings or data.
By collecting these images, our wish is to create a new point of entry to science through the fascination of visualizing what is normally invisible to the naked eye the. So, WCMM students and researchers, it's time to get creative!
Purpose of the Event
- Spark curiosity about medical research in general among the public and donors
- Highlight what the Wallenberg initiative contributes in terms of scientific results, collaborative projects, etc.
- Strengthen cooperation between the four Wallenberg centers in Sweden
